This book is an excellent overview of the blown film process. Dr. Cantor covers everything from the basics of extrusion (hardware components, screw functional zones, etc) to the higher level theory behind screw geometry, process conditions, and polymer rheology. If you're new to blown film or simply looking to bulk up on the theory behind your experiences, this is the book for you.

Another winner. I love Susan Stoker. Each book just pulls me in faster. Tony and Amiee have great chemistry. I wish it was longer but, I loved every single word. Getting a visit from the Delta Force group and even Texas was awesome. Now anxiously awaiting the next book.

They were attracted to one another from the day they met, but both have been trying to work up the nerve to try for a date--which they finally have--just in time to become involved in an active shooter incident at the school where they teach!

BEST BOOK FOR FINAL REVIEW

This is a very strong book. It is short but has everything you need for the TOEFL paper test. It has full easy explanation for each question (you don't need teacher or dictionary to understand). It also has TOEFL strategies, English skills, vocabulary words, fun English :), and even more... You also can find the audio linked to each question, so no CD needed! And more importantly it is VERY CHEAP.
A negative point would be that the book doesn't have many practice questions, it is for final review. It is not a practice book. This book is very good if you are planing to take a TOEFL paper test and looking for a score around 500. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

This book is amazing because it contains really easy English for lower level English students. The questions are really similar to the real TOEL test, which includes explanation for each question and answer. You can just finish the book within two hours. Students will have also a fun time while studying the book. The most interesting thing about this book is it’s good for self-study which you can study everywhere and anytime you want. Moreover it is also available in different electronic formats.

A very good and thorough textbook.

This textbook gives deep coverage to the areas of short fiction, drama, and poetry. It contains an astounding amount of information. There are quite a number of full stories, poems, and plays--although I have not counted, I would say that the number could be approaching 1000.

The authors have done a great job in selecting writings to illustrate concepts. All of the selected writings are good, in the objective sense--they contain deep meaning. Of course, personal taste is subjective, and my experience was that some of the writings were thoroughly enjoyable, and none were quite intolerable.

There are also questions after pieces of literature to help the reader achieve more insight than they might of their own devices, small sections that offer tips on writing, light biographies and case studies of various authors. Throughout the course I have made lists of various authors I found to be particularly interesting, for further reading on my own time.

This singular textbook was, for the purpose of my class, equivalent to a boxed set which contains each of the treated topics in a separate book. The page numbers corresponded exactly to those of the books in the boxed set. I saved a good bit of money in purchasing this, and I much prefer a single textbook to a clumsy boxed set.

I like this textbook enough that now that my class is done, I am still considering whether to keep it for independent learning or sell it to recoup some of the cost.

The best English anthology yet, in a form easy to carry

It's the best anthology I've seen in 50 years. It has detailed explanations of all the literary areas it covers, and sample student essays which greatly help freshmen transitioning from high school to college. The 13th edition is a slight but not a significant improvement. I have bought several copies to lend to students still waiting for theirs to arrive. Be sure to get the portable edition, which divides the heavy hard cover book into four paperback books which will save your arm by carrying far less weight to the classroom. These editors make it easy to learn and easy to teach Freshman English, which I have done for ten years. Rental is cheaper, but this is a book you will want to keep.

A lot of content

This book contains a lot of content related to short stories, poetry and drama. Due to the size, the pages are very thin and sometimes it is hard to find things quickly when the pages are so thin. (No fault of Amazon's). I recieved the book when expected, however, the front cover had a tear in the right upper corner. The first few pages are kind of crumpled down due to the front cover tear. There were no markings or highlighting in the book that I have come across. I have always been impressed with the Amazon service and that is why I am a repeat customer.

Good book and guide for learning Japanese with an easy understanding and structure. It helped us during our trip to Osaka.

This book, "Speak Japanese in 90 Days" was a great help for my husband and me during our trip to Osaka, Japan. The way the author has designed the language learning curve is quite efficient as the book is divided in 90 lessons that you have to read as one per day.

Each daily lesson has 10 vocabulary words for you to memorize and most of those daily lessons do contain some grammar structure to memorize as well. It is recommended to write down those 10 vocabulary words on 10 separate cards, on card's front face you will write the English word and on the back side you will write the Japanese word, you must say out loud each word in English and then in Japanese, in that way you will help yourself to memorize each word. The author also recommends to repeat each word at least three times a day in order to increase the memory ability of every single word included on each lesson. After that, you can try to make sentences with the words learned in order to improve your memory ability and language structure.

An explanation about the Japanese writing system and its pronunciation is also described by the author.

In our own experience, this book helped us a lot; although, we also carried a dictionary and other language devices, but still without understanding the basics of a foreign language, there is very little you can speak. Therefore, this book gave us a much better understanding of the Japanese language and its structure so it was easier for us to deal with several important situations as getting train tickets, ask for directions, buying food, get a room and some more regular daily situations.

My daughters are studying Japanese and they say that this helps them a lot in their studies and helps to get them ahead a bit. We needed this because I have not been able to help them with their homework and they can rely on this for extra help.
